Player rules

What is allowed, what is not, and what happens if a rule is broken

Last updated: September 2026

The whole page in one sentence: treat people the way you would want to be treated, and keep personal information — anyone's, including your own — out of the game.

1. Respect for other players

This is the single most reported rule on the game.

  • No swearing, insults or belittling, whether at an opponent or your own partner, including when you are losing.
  • No threats, harassment, or following a player from table to table.
  • No attacks on ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender or appearance. These count among the most serious violations.
  • Mocking a weaker or newer player is an insult too, even when it is framed as a joke.

2. Prohibited content

None of this is allowed anywhere in the game — not in chat, not in your name, not in your bio, not in an alliance name:

  • Sexual or obscene content, in any tone and for any reason.
  • Violent content.
  • Promoting or explaining anything illegal, gambling and betting included.
  • Inflammatory or insulting political and religious content.
  • Advertising other apps, channels, websites or services.

3. Personal information

This rule protects you as much as everyone else.

  • Do not put your phone number, address, email or social handles in your name, bio, or chat. Your name is visible to everyone who sits at your table, and you have no idea who is writing it down.
  • Never post someone else's personal information. A player's display name is the only thing about them you may share.
  • In free-text chat, links, handles and numbers are stripped automatically. That is a safeguard, not an invitation to try again.
  • Never give anyone your password or a login or SMS code. Our team will never ask you for them.

4. Fair play

  • No collusion. Signalling the cards in your hand to your partner, by any means, is cheating.
  • No deliberately losing or abandoning a table so that someone else wins.
  • Walking out mid-match to dodge a loss is a violation, and it costs you season points as well.
  • If you find a bug, do not exploit it. Report it. Players who report real bugs are valuable to us.

5. Your account

  • One account per person. Creating several accounts to move coins around or inflate your stats is a violation.
  • Buying or selling accounts or coins for real money is prohibited. In-game coins are not convertible to money.
  • Do not impersonate another player, or our support team and administrators.
  • Do not hand your account to anyone else. Whatever happens on it is on the account holder.

6. Chat

  • During a hand only preset phrases, stickers and emoji are available. There is no free text mid-hand.
  • Where free text does exist, messages are screened before they reach anyone.
  • No message flooding, repeating the same line, or filling the screen. Rate limits apply.
  • A blocked message reaches nobody, but it is kept for review. Reinstalling the app does not erase it.

7. Reporting

If a player breaks one of these rules, use the report option on their profile and pick the reason. Reports are read by a person, not a machine.

  • False or coordinated group reports against a player are themselves a violation and are investigated.
  • The more precisely you describe what happened, the faster and more accurately it is handled.
  • You are told the outcome of your report.

8. Consequences

SituationResult
A minor or first violationA formal warning recorded on your account.
A serious violationA serious strike recorded on your account.
Repeated serious violationsPermanent account ban.
An unacceptable name or bioRejected; you will have to change it.
Cheating or exploiting a bugCoins gained are reversed and the account is banned.

A banned account loses its coins, purchases and achievements, and they are not returned.

These rules apply identically to every player, regardless of level, spending or history. If you believe a decision about your account was wrong, write to us from the support section inside the app and it will be reviewed again.
