When your table entry fee comes back, and when it does not

1. Two terms

Term	Meaning
Hand	A full stage of the match. A team must take 7 tricks to win it.
Trick	One pass around the table where all four players play a card and one of them takes it.

Condition	Result
Your turn comes and you play nothing for 20 seconds	The system plays your lowest legal card and records one missed turn against you.
You play a card yourself	Your missed-turn count resets to zero.
A card the system played for you	Does not reset that count.
Two turns are missed back to back	Your seat is given up, the table continues for the other three players, and that match is over for you.

Conditions are checked in this order. The first one that matches decides the outcome.

Condition	Entry fee
The table was free	Nothing was charged, so nothing is returned.
You leave before the cards are dealt	Returned in full.
Your seat is given up over missed turns and your team is not behind at that moment	Returned in full.
Your seat is given up the same way but your team is behind	Not returned, at any stage of the match.
You press Leave yourself, before the third hand	Half is returned.
You leave yourself, from the third hand onward	Not returned.

This is measured at the exact moment the seat is given up.

Your team has won fewer hands than the opponents	Yes
Your team has won more hands than the opponents	No
Hands are level and you have taken fewer tricks in the current hand	Yes
Hands are level and your tricks are equal or more	No

A tie counts in your favour, not against you.

Condition	Prize
You are not at the table when the match is decided	No prize, even if your team wins.
The match ends before a full result is reached	No prize is paid to anyone.
The match reaches a full result	The prize goes to the winners who stayed to the end.

The entry-fee return and the prize are two separate things. Your fee can come back in full while you still receive no prize.

Case	Limit
Each turn	20 seconds
Connection lost mid-hand	30 seconds to come back
Connection lost in the waiting room	120 seconds to come back

An entry fee that is not returned is not handed to the opposing team. That is deliberate, so nobody gains from you dropping out.
A lost connection and a phone put down look the same to us, because all we can see is that the turns went unanswered.
Every charge and every return is recorded on your account and is visible in your coin history.

These rules apply identically to every player. There is no exception based on level, account, or the size of the table.
